Search for Pre-School Trustee & Treasurer

Charlbury Pre-School are seeking a new Treasurer, who will also serve as a Charity Trustee, to join our friendly, dedicated committee. This is a voluntary and unpaid role, ideal for someone who is organised, confident with numbers, and enthusiastic about supporting a local Charlbury institution.

As a trustee of Charlbury Pre‑School (a registered charity), you’ll share legal responsibility for the governance and administration of the organisation, in line with Charity Commission guidance (CC3).

As Treasurer, your responsibilities will include oversight of accounts, attendance at termly committee meetings, supporting bids for funding, managing the cash box, drafting simple fundraising reports, and advising on financial planning. No formal qualifications are needed, but some accounting or other financial experience is preferred.
